New Day

Well we had a rocky evening last nite. I went to check on our family pet which is a rabbit that we got for Kelsey when she was three (now she is going to be nine) and he was barely breathing. Me being the animal lover I am rushed him over to my mom's to be away from the kiddos as I did not want them to see him like that and he started to convulsing then made two little cries and took his last breath in my arms. I of course lost it when he started convulsing and crying so needless to say I cradled him for a while before bringing him home and telling Kelsey that he was now up in heaven jumping around forever. She of course like me didn't take it very well. We then placed him in a box and I covered him up with a towel and placed his little ball with him and we buried him. Now we just need to make a cross for him. Needless to say I was along with Kelsey sick to my stomach all nite.
Today two ladies are coming over from the Riverbend program to determine what kind of services Kolton needs and qualifies for. They are coming at 11:15am and said they would be here for an hour. Karter has school at 12:30pm and then I have a counseling appointment at 1:00pm so we have a busy day. Then I have to come home finish laundry now that my lovely husband brought a bag full for me haha and then work at 4:00-midnight. Other than that I will update with how everything goes today.

New to this whole blogging thing!

So far it is a quiet day in the Luepke household. We have no appointments which is nice as we have three tomorrow so having none is relaxing. Ava comes today along with Chloe and Carson so it will be quite loud soon! Kolton's ear is still draining and it is quite fun putting the ear drops in his ear. Karter is bummed beacause he has no school and Kelsey is at school. She loves school this year so hopefully they will stay the same. Karter is also loving school since he gets to go three days a week instead of just one. Tomorrow we have a couple of people coming over one of which is a speech therapist and then a lady who will figure out Kolton's needs and what he all qualifies for. Then I have a appointment with a counselor for the first time since I need a little help with dealing with my anxiety and dealing with sick kids and no end in sight. Then finally our last appointment is with Leah which is Kolton's speech therapist that he goes to twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays so yea busy day tomorrow. I also have to work tonight and the rest of the week so by the weekend I will be worn out! Hope everyone has a great day!
